noise control.

maybe it's just Facebook, but somehow when i view the photos there the noise control is horrible. last time i went to 3200 and it was still fine..

today wasn't very successful, because kept having problem getting angles. for the first time ever i'm super worried about blocking everyone's view..which i should be actually.

moooooo both the albums are up on Facebook. CNY concert and the aftermath = SLI rehearsal, which is shot purely by rong with the 50mm since i still don't have the 18-135.

the concert was quite good, although a little bit too much talking in my opinion, and a bit short. short is good though. i still owe jordan $2.80 for that sandwich..which was the only thing i ate from like morning until 5 just now.

after concert chionged up to the room with dion, then went down to do laundry. had to do mine and jiamin's, (he really has a lot of clothes), and then reached hall for SLI rehearsal at like 1215. not like they started anyway...basically i just have to sit in a chair beside yawen and then stand up at the appropriate moments and take the pledge. which is way too long in my opinion.

so the rehearsal was just us standing up and sitting down and doing that 20 times. then we had to raise the right hand another 20 times.

i prefer the audi. it's better for taking photos the hall background is @!#!@#@!#@ all the nice shots ruined by that horrible stained yellow nonsense at the back

jiamin and jordan have taken off for malaysia. i expect food when i get back. also, we're screwed for the 27th because we're supposed to be welcoming new members and our president won't be around because he has to attend an extra rehearsal for people going on stage.

no idea what we're going to do. maybe we'll just project his Facebook onto the screen and show all the unglam shots XD

finally found a use for the disc drive. copying random chinese songs now..because chinese songs have more meaning and more soul i realised. been blasting it for about 2 days now at night and it's just so much better than english ones..

and the lyrics make more sense.

my photo count currently stands at 18GB for the first month...at this rate i'm gonna die xP but i guess 11GB is orientation + cca fair so that doesn't count. but still.

i still love my 50mm no matter what. i know it's only a 1.8 but it's still awesome.

and finished the second episode of sherlock just now. it's so doctor who like, in the sense that it's extremely random and one thing can just lead to a completely unimaginable thing.

also, i hate traveling. had to come back on my own just now because it was early..SLI rehearsal ended at 2 so i was slacking around in the control room talking to mr taufiq with rong until about 3...then i decided to go back with shi jer so i found him and then we went off. carrying my sling bag + cam bag + laptop bag through bus + mrt + bus is freaking suicidal. never again.

oh, and i finally have lightroom 4 beta! i know i'm slow..but it's like 944MB. compared to lightroom 3 which is 94.4 MB...yes.
