that moment was so funny.
it's strange, being wide awake on a friday night.

because there was no cca, i reached home at 4, had a nap, then went out for dinner at 645 ish.
then i came back, watched SAO, and then now i'm here. think i'll try to edit my photos by tonight, and leave the rest of the weekend for work  :/

school now is like quiz in the day, study at night, quiz/test the next day. suicidal.
messed up physics test..18/30. yeah, i know...

anyway, I've been watching Accel World the whole week. yes.
and I hit the limit on Thursday morning, just before chem honours lecture.

so now i'm waiting for the last episode while jookee suans me with his stream but apparently it doesn't work so hohoho.

actually i'd rather watch it tmr. something to look forward to.
and there's doctor who to watch on sunday again!

i love the angel beats phone stream haha. although i'd rather have an accel world one. hmm. i want a kuroyukihime one. -hint hint to dion-

bradley managed to get free tickets, curse him. from sergei alekseyev. balls.
I should have asked my dad earlier. but it's okay. think i'm getting forced to stay home and study anyway, so i can't go out. damn, i wanted to go to that japanese festival thing with jookee and dion.

today was kinda weird actually. slept through math and woke up at the end to take pictures of the whiteboard with my camera, and then smoked physics prac (where boon chong was being high and going around knighting bottles (yes, he did.))

basically, he was going like, "arise, sir pinbottle."
yup..

so yeah, jordan was there sitting beside me during the quiz because he already took it, and then he proceeded to dismantle my correction tape and write on it.

we actually left hostel at around the same time, but he cheated by taking 6405 while i had to endure 196. i want a car.  then i'll just drive myself home. so cool.

then we had english, which was basically us talking about religion with dass. so fun. and then we watched michelle obama's speech and wondered why the whole audience was crying and why they only zoomed in on black people in the audience for about 90% of the time.

no cca, which was sad. but it gave me time to rest.
I will make photo side better next year.

Asylum of the Daleks.

my first doctor who review.

and i'm doing this mostly because i love it. this episode was so awesome. really good.

note : this is NOT spoiler free. basically, go watch it first because it's so mindblowing.

so the episode begins with a giant dalek on Skaro, where the doctor meets this random woman.

I think it's good that those of us who only watched the revived series get to see Skaro. and yes as the doctor rightly states, it's a complete mess.

and she turns out to be a dalek human.

basically they are human shells which the daleks hollow out and then live inside. makes sense?

oh well, it's quite a bad plot device to be honest. but it does allow the emotional part of it to come out.

and oho. amy and rory have joined the party.

and it's the parliament of the daleks.

"What do we do?"

"Be brave. Make them remember you."

that's the dalek PM, by the way.

and.....behold the entrance of the new companion!

basically in the story she's Oswin Oswald, who's stuck in the asylum because her ship crashed there a year ago and she can't get out.

and all she's been doing is...making souffles.

yup.

that's the asylum. it's a whole planet, where they dump all the daleks that go wrong : the battle-scarred, the insane ones. and it's protected by a force field which can only be deactivated from the inside. so the grand plan is to send the doctor, amy and rory there to deactivate the field and then the daleks will blow up the planet.

by firing them into the planet, yes..

i just realised i'm telling you the whole story.

here comes the most action-ish bit in the whole episode.

yay dalek remains.

how fun.

this just reminds me of the scene in Journey's End, where he practically blew them all up.

and then he goes to save Oswin. but, (and here it comes), it turns out that,

yup. she's a dalek.

and everything that she's imagined isn't real. it's just a real because the truth was too terrible for her to bear.

but she lets the doctor go. and....

another reference to the scene in The Big Bang, where the two of them are, well to put it plainly, making out while they're being threatened by daleks.

and then the tardis comes into play and they all go home.

this wasn't even a review.

i basically just spoiled every single person who will ever read this.

conclusion : brilliant episode, but would have liked to see more use of the tardis. I miss it.

i'm not doing episode 2 because it sucks.

like really sucks. humour is good though. and there's a kiss.

i wanted to do an asylum of the daleks review but unfortunately my roommate hasn't watched it. so i can't.

and i can't believe it's still 1030. none of us have done anything productive tonight. highlights include dion smashing a pillow into his face and singing songs with an assortment of random chords and lyrics.

if i use this attitude for exams then i'm screwed lol.

now i'm hoping that debb's awake because she posted on the class wall 40minutes ago and i want someone to talk to. or, i want my own house so that when i cant sleep, i can actually get up and do something. here i'm stuck in my own room.

also, my dad is going to check twitter and FREAK that i didn't sleep at all.
