holidays are about to start.
well, they have kinda started. it's just that my holiday doesn't really start after convocation, and this year it doesn't start until after prom.

after which, after I exhibit my shitty photography skills, I'm going to fly off to Malaysia the following morning. I predict like no sleep at all the previous night :D

I think I have enough anime to last me. The problem with following series' which are still airing is that it's absolute torture to have to wait a week. Anyway, I have K-On! (all the seasons), Code Geass, Clannad and Fate-Zero to clear, so it should be fine. I'm not my sister, who finishes one anime in a day.

I seem to be deviating a lot and being unable to post about what I originally intended to blog about.
I mean, it's been a year. Shit's changed, for the worse I believe.  That's mainly because, I took no action because I was unsure of myself, (I still am), and everyone around me was just, well.  I know everyone can't help it, but sometimes, when you say it too much, it becomes something you want to get away from.  it becomes something she naturally wants to get away from.

also, that night was a terrible night. nah, the night was fine, it was a terrible day.
forget it, i'll just spend the rest of the holidays distracting myself with music and anime. it'll be fine. I keep telling myself that lol.

Damn i'm being dramatic again. jiamin always tells me that I'm super depressed on my blog, whereas in real life i'm fine.  Seeing many of the others tmr though, Convocation and prom briefing!

also, jookee's going around blocking people on twitter. ahaha.
so typical of him. okay, i'm going to get some food now.

Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2012 :D

my first AFA, yes. since it's only been my first year really getting into anime and japanese and stuff.
jookee's influence, mostly. that cow.

anyway, I saw jookee and dion through the niconico live stream, because jookee was working as an emcee! he got paid $100, which I totally want. Wasn't planning to go for the first day, but that totally hooked me so I rushed to expo and dion bought me a ticket and I went in!

just spent the time walking around randomly at first haha. there were really a lot of people.

yeah his job is to try and convince people to be interviewed. he nearly got us up there but dion and I ran away =P

oh right, we also met chee, arif, joshua, clarence, sean seet there! of course, mingwei vivian and claire were there. and weiren, even though we never saw him..

now that was a horrible waste of money. 

I have many debts to collect on now, so I'm not exactly broke. but until I cash in on those debts..

so that was the end of Day 1, Saturday. they crashed my house and we all cramped inside my tiny room that night. Dion arrived at around 9, he watched his Jinrui while I finished up Chaos;Head (and complained about it, naturally.) yeah, it's total shit. don't watch it, unless you're the kind of person who thinks that an asparagus cheesecake is nice.

we got bored after a while though. then jiamin arrived, and I fed him with pork/eggs but he was demanding chicken breast so in order to shut him up Dion and I tweeted about it and i fried dion an egg with pepper. after that we had to go pick jookee because his concert ended late and he was swearing profusely about the Singapore transport system which shuts down after midnight. admittedly, it's kinda dumb, considering there are many flights coming in after midnight..

so I cooked him an omelette with honey-baked ham. with bread. because he hadn't actually had dinner.

and then I got hungry and cooked myself an egg as well.

so we basically just burnt my house's egg supply.

oh, and our breakfast was beehoon with.....fried egg.

yeah.

then it was time for day 2! this time I had the main stage event ticket as well ^^

after that they had diamond stage which meant all the Sphere fans went crazy. I mean, really really crazy. so, jiamin and I decided to start hitting on ferlyn yoshimi, the mc.

I shall end this with Sakai Wakana from Tari Tari. Yup, AFA was lovely. I'll try to go for a concert next year, I think. and I'm going at 9 on the first day to buy the Accel World stuff before it runs out.

the end of an era.

it's been nice knowing you guys.
very nice, indeed. it was a brilliant experience.

I still remember moving in at the start of the year, being a little hesitant, a little worried about whether i would be able to live by myself, and whether I would be able to concentrate on my studies. well, hostel's been very fun. and it's helped me grow. it's changed me, I would say, I think in a better light.

More importantly, it's been bloody brilliant hanging out with you guys. Thank you to jordan, jiamin, jookee, dion and everyone else (in fact almost the whole year 5) for making it so fun. I'd definitely do this again, given the chance.

damn, my typing skills are fading. too slow!

maybe i'm just tired. oh well. slept at about 4:44, since that was the last recorded time I actually remembered seeing on my phone. and then we were all nearly late but it's fine. I have to say I am slightly disappointed with my GPA, but it is higher than I expected, thanks to the 7MC of math As. and no thanks to english/physics.

and then went to orientation meeting, which lasted round..2 minutes. and went to gym with jiamin and png. 3rd official session..2nd in a row.  I must admit that those two are hackers and that I lost like all my arm strength after like an hour.

then came back, arp-ed (tried to) and then went back to a mad rush of packing. it was crazy..I really detest packing. oh right, before that I had to accompany jiamin to the GO to talk to Ms Celestine because he didn't renew his ez-link card then didn't bother to do it for like 9months. So i was basically sitting in the purple comfy chair bouncing up and down and silently laughing at him.

also, we had a sort of mini cluster party last night! super impromptu, it was actually the 5 of us cooking fake carbonara, but then Ms Chua brought out like around 100 nuggets and chips and Bradley got out ice cream and those heavenly brownies.  So it turned into such an amazing night and everyone joined in, and they were even making milkshakes.



also, we took a lot of crazy pictures which made no sense haha.

as you can see, we're advertising products half the time, and making V signs half the time!
hahaha I will miss all these guys.

also, I took home a souvenir.

the guys crashed my house last night. quite fun, except

a) I can't sleep because of someone..
b) jiamin's such an arse because he keeps demanding eggs, chicken breasts, nuts and other protein-related foods.
