ah, bliss.

today was a mesh.

well, a good mesh.

english was kinda a non-event, because we just talked crap and laughed through it as usual. and the hypothetical situation proposed by beji dass :

there is a man called bob. one day, bob buys a bugatti (they only ever made 300) and thinks that because it will always appreciate, he can sell it when needed and live out his life comfortably. he also loves it very much and enjoys driving around in it.

one day, he parks his bugatti on a railway and decides to take a stroll. while on the stroll, he sees a runaway train speeding towards a small child a distance away. it is too far for him to scream out to save the child, and he cannot reach the child in time. he can, however, choose to flip a switch which will send the train onto another track, which will save the child, but his bugatti will get smashed to pieces in the process.

what would you do?

this is what happened.

bob chose not to flip the switch and the child died.

yawen's immediate reaction : bob's an asshole! (probably true)

final conclusion : bob is stupid to park his car on a railway.

the point of that was to say that in real life, we are all bobs. when we make decisions, we have to sacrifice one thing over another, so it's like giving to the needy, helping others.

played pool with fiona/daryl/junwei, then rushed back for math.

seriously, i am utterly useless at every single game in the world.

then ate lunch and went to the tv room to play "the village" with them. essentially it's like polar bear/murderer etc. but more fun :D

and dion keeps killing me off..cow mayor.

and then he killed loo wrongly when he actually pointed to the correct person..

and we still have to do the interview..

my throat is worse now. bloody hell, i will never get well.

we decided to request that AV do their training on mondays, so we have everyone back for video/photo respectively on fridays. and so today we had a dslr basic training..it's basically weiren talking like 90% while me and jiamin sit there and talk nonsense and stone.

and we got homework, for the first time ever. split into groups of 3, and i'm with alice and rong... that bloody cow doesn't even know his classmate's name..can't believe him sometimes.

ate dinner, and then delayed packing for like an hour, and then came home and ate dinner again.

i hate traffic. it makes me dizzy and gives me a headache because my dad brakes. a lot.
